I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the Columbia-Highland Groomery. The Columbia-Highland Groomery is owned and operated by Wanda Mayhew, and staffed by 3 other groomers: Erin, Mary and Stacy. All three are graduates of the Maryland School of Dog Grooming. The Maryland School of Dog grooming is an accredited school specializing in teaching professional all breed pet grooming and business management. Our bather Heather, is a very hard working young woman. She cleans and fluff dries each pet so they leave feeling clean and refreshed.

Established in 1989, the Columbia Groomery is a full service, modern, professional grooming salon conveniently located in downtown Columbia, Maryland. In 2002 Columbia Groomery merged with Paws For Thought Groomery in Highland Maryland. We now call ourselves Columbia-Highland Groomery. Since Highland is only minutes from our original location, and provides more space for our growing business, we decided to combine both locations to Highland Maryland.
Collectively, our groomers have over 40 years experience grooming dogs and cats, and one of our groomers, Erin, has over 20 years experience as a breeder and exhibitor of AKC Champion Boxers.
We follow AKC guidelines for proper styling and grooming procedures and come highly recommended by many veterinarians. Their clients are our clients; so they see the quality grooming we do.. We do not believe in the "assembly line method" of grooming to cut costs. We offer professional, personal, holistic, and thorough pet grooming with tender loving care. Our natural flea and tick treatments are comatable with advantage, program and frontline.
We would like to add that your pet's health and well being is our top priority. Having your pets groomed on a regular basis is less costly to you and better for your pets because we are able to bring to your attention possible medical problems which may require the attention of your veterinarian.
